The first fund, Always Opportunities, is an absolute-return credit fund focused on the Nordic corporate bond market. The strategy is designed to preserve capital while generating returns across market cycles. Portfolio management is led by Taner Pikdöken, former Partner at Atlant Fonder, where he managed some of the Nordics’ most successful credit and hedge funds, earning awards such as Hedge Fund of the Year and Morningstar’s highest five-star rating.

The operational side is led by Helena Bergin, former Deputy CEO of Captor, and Carl-Fredrik Lagerholm, former CEO of Nordnet Fonder. Always Summer also brings together some of the Nordics’ most successful entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders as shareholders and board members. Shareholders include Joel Hellermark (Sana), Sebastian Knutsson (King/Candy Crush), Susanna Campbell (Serial Board Member) and Johan Brenner (Creandum). Erik Kjellberg (former Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority and Nordea), Claudia Stanghellini (former AP3), Johan Öberg (Boston Consulting Group) and Carl-Fredrik Lagerholm (former CEO of Nordnet Fonder) have been elected to the board.

Always Opportunities is available to institutional investors, as well as to private investors in Sweden via Avanza and selected banks, with additional platforms to follow shortly.
